I believe there's one in the headphone jack and another at the dock connector. How do you tell if moisture has been in there?

seriously?

a google search or even a search of this site brings up countless threads.

so I ask again. Seriously?!

The water sensors will turn pink/red if they've been in contact with any moisture.

Sorry about the search police...

He's just asking a question, chill out dude. its a simple question that just deserves a simple answer and if u have a smart comment, dont say anything.

Pretty easy to answer instead of the idiots screaming to use the search...

Shine a light down the headphone jack and at the bottom you will see a dot. If it is white, you are fine but if it is pink or red you have gotten water on it. This is also one barely visible in the dock connector area.

There, was that so flippin hard?

Well this helped me too as I never knew exactly what to look for. ;)

For the jack:

I've never been able to see either of these on my phone, but these are the pics. The Apple website is even more useless for seeing what they look like. I have a 3G. Neither of these sensors can clearly be seen (at least for me). I suppose when they're red I'll notice them, but I can't see the white that I'm supposed to see.
