Water splashed on my mute switch on my iPhone X just a little bit. Will it get inside the iPhone? And will it dry up and not mess anything up?

The iPhone X is water resistant as you know. But being such a small area around the mute switch, I doubt it would be a problem reaching internally, being It just splashed on the mute switch area, assuming that you also dried it thoroughly.

Yeah I blew the water out of it. Kind of hard to get anything in there to dry it up.

Did you blow on it yourself, or did you use compressed air?
Blowing with your mouth is prolly fine, but using compressed air might force it into places it shouldn't be
Chances are slim, but I would avoid using compressed air and let it dry out naturally

The first thing I did after getting the 7 Plus last year and this years iPhone X is put them under the tap water. Don’t worry you’ll be fine :)

Thanks man. Just didn’t want to mess this phone up. Best phone I have had. I love it. All besides Face ID. That really the only thing I hate about it.

I couldn’t agree more. I really love this phone. Perfect balance between big screen and being easy to hold. I also kinda hate Face ID but I’m learning to live with it.

Although I would never recommend doing this intentionally, the iPhone X is rated to withstand 30 minutes fully submerged in up to 1 meter of water. A splash on your mute switch should do absolutely no harm to your phone.
