I was out today (attempting) to take magnificent photos :)o) when the heavens opened and I had to run for cover. I didn't mind getting wet, but I sure as hell didn't want my lickle baby D40 getting soaked.

Are there any effective waterproof covers out there that allow you to keep shooting in such circumstances - apart from a large plastic bag?

Thanks :)

Ewa-Marine makes some. Prices range for $20 to $200. At the low end it is just a vinyl cover. The better ones completely enclose the camera and let your camera survive a quick dunk under water B&H has them.

But I'm looking at this one...

10-day free trial too, they bill you after you've played with it, so you're not out money early. I've owned Aquatech, Fotosharp and one of the others, the Fotosharps are the easiest to get on when it rains and the ones that stay with my camera bag.
