Hmm... well, I personally also strongly dislike all-Flash websites, but putting that aside, there are a lot of other things that need work. When I go to change the language to English, it asks me if I really want to change the language, which is unnecessary and annoying. So is the Flash intro, which provides no valuable information and is slow. Also, I can't even get the site to load on Safari and since this is a Mac website, that is a bad thing. I did get it to load on FireFox.

There are also a lot of spelling mistakes in the English section I saw right off the bat, including "wye" instead of "why" and "parteners" instead of "partners," "dinamic" instead of "dynamic," etc. There are more, too.

The last link in your portfolio section is broken.

That's all just for starters. Sorry if it sounds harsh, but if you want to be taken seriously as a design and hosting company, you need to do a lot of work.

Congratulations!

You win the prize of being the first blatant rip off of 2Advanced version 5 that I've seen!

And as others have said the music is annoying, and the giant volume slider doesn't help matters.

And what's with the font? It's "ok" to use it for the logo, by why have you gone and used it for everything? Do you really think it's easy to read the body copy when written like that?

You get 1/10 on this, I'm granting 1 point because of the pirate ships in the background...arrrr matey :)

the flash is overwhelming. Let your coding ability drive the site, not the flash functionality.

Gah.

1. Too much flash.
2. A really poor design to begin with. Hurts my eyes just to look at it.
3. IMO, the only sites that should use music are for bands. Music = annoying, and makes me instantly close a website because of it.
4. The constant flashing/shaking objects are distracting to all hell.

I spent five minutes loading the flash animation just to have to change the language to actually read the site.

  • If you continue to use flash, put the language selection box first before loading the site.
  • Take the music away.
  • Change the background.
  • Change the font. At the top "Free hosting" looks like "Free Bosting."
  • Spelling: At the bottom: it's "Partners."
I suggest a slightly-less flashy site and use standard HTML. It's quicker and loads faster which will lead to more customers so they can actually load your site if they are on dial-up.

Sorry if it's harsh. Think of it as constructive criticisim from a dial-up user. :)

Ouch, spare no feelings here, right guys?

I generally dislike sites that use a lot of flash, but when they're done well, I don't mind them. 2advanced does it really well.

Your site does it pretty well I think papu. I can't understand any of it, but it isn't as annoying and over the top as a lot of sites I've seen. And I totally love the ship+castle backdrop you have on there. It's very fanciful. I like it. :)

Way too much bro. I didn't even think 100% Flash websites still existed, it's so incredibly NOT Web 2.0 friendly. If I was a potential customer I wouldn't even sit through the obnoxious loading time. And if I did I'd be taken to a nearly impossible to navigate jittering page of cryptic words floating around the screen. I know how much it sucks developing in Flash and it's obviously taken you quite a long time to do this but for anything other than hobby and fun this kind of site doesn't have any place in today's world. Google cannot search it, it's difficult to use and it's bandwidth heavy. I can't believe 2Advanced are still in business. They are clearly very talented folks but there can't be much call for this kind of work any more, outside of the gaming world perhaps. I'd thought they would have moved on to motion graphics for T.V. or something. Hey papu123, maybe that's what you should do. You've got a knack and passion for it!

Web 2 VS Flash

Haha, you have sparked the classic HTML vs FLASH argument!

Personally I think your flash abilities are very good, and you have obviously spent a lot of time on the site.

The only thing I can say is that it looks very original - which is good, but can result in some users getting confused.

Check out thefwa.com/ and ****star.com DAILY and start pushing out sites like those and you'll do well.

Keep flash alive!

You need to learn about a thing called typography there's no sense of layout or form to the site, plus the site could have easily been done in HTML with way less time to load.

Check out The Brand Channel it will give you an extremely good idea of what good typography is.

Make sure you check spelling and grammar, it may be a very small thing to hit F7 in Word but it's the difference between being professional and being "one of those" web sites.

One last point loose the music.

im not sure im feeling the style and intro IMO can waste bandwidth and time.. you are ovbiously good at flash but.. just need to brush up on your design skills..

Was I the only one who liked the music?

Ok, I like it, but it doesn't really belong on this website, and I'm a flash-hater like most of the other folks who have posted comments.

However, the imagery and music kept me hanging out at your site until my CPU was ready to explode, even though I didn't really care to read anything on it (other than who the artists were, which I couldn't find).

So, gorgeous art, lovely ethereal music (songs 2 & 3 are best). This needs to be a site you go to because you want to look at and hear pretty things, not a business site. Try making your professional site look more.... er.. professional. And take all the jumping curly words off the screen on this one and let me just go look at it when I need to relax.
