I noticed yesterday when direct sunlight hit my phone’s screen (it was off) that there was this strange rippled look on the display itself (under the glass). Upon further inspection, I noticed this in several random places on the screen. It is really only noticeable when the screen is OFF and in bright light/sunlight, but I want to know if this is normal. My Series 5 Watch also seems to have it to a degree, so is this just a characteristic of Apple’s OLED displays? It doesn’t appear to affect the actual image when the screen is ON at all. I’m incredibly OCD and I know this is silly, but I’m just looking for some confirmation one way or the other. Thanks all!
