Hi!

Does anybody know what this wavy spot o my iPad is? It is not seen when the screen is on, but when I press anything on the screen, some waves travel to this spot, especially when I write with apple pencil.
I bought this iPad with this problem, of which previous owner was not aware. The screen was replaced a long time ago.
Is this an air bubble under it or just moisture maybe?

Thank you for the answers!

Do you have a screen protector applied. I ask because I have seen marks like this, typically surrounding a single speck of dust when or after applying a screen protector. Could also be condensation which normally would dissipate over some time

Does it look like a rainbow? If yes then it's a known Apple's manufacturing defect, it happened on 2 of 3 iPad Pros I owned and some of my friends saw it on their iPads.

It didn't bother me so I just never complained but recently there seem to be too many problems with iPad screens including this one, also bright spots, screen unresponsiveness after 3-12 months of usage and even crazy bending issue. The percentage of iPad hardware defects is getting significantly bigger nowadays. This is very sad to watch how they kill their own product.
