Resolved Waze Will Not Play Thru iPhone Speakers

Waze spoken directions are only coming through the iPhone earpiece and not the speakers (or the speaker volume is super low).

My settings are correct and I've also uninstalled/reinstalled Waze on my iPhone 14 Pro, iOS 16.1.

I've searched here, and then an Internet search – to no avail.

Has anybody else experienced this?

Any suggestions on how to fix?

I have just sorted mine !!! Go on to the app , set a destination … when you get the low voice use your side button to increase volume. Hope it works for you.

I had the same issue and it also worked for me!! Never would have thought about that. In the settings section there is a slider to adjust the volume, which I had set to the max setting and you would think that would have set the volume. Thanks again, great tip!!!
