Yea gotta retire the 6x8 Intous 3 :) going for large as well.
I dont have the deskspace for the XL :(

As much as I like nice new shiny things I can't really justify buying a replacement to my intuos 3 a5 wide, especially when all the old tools probably won't work on it

Might end up buying a 'small' later on though as part of a 'portable' kit I'm considering.

I'll get one...mostly because I sold off my v3 before I had grown accustomed. Now have some projects where I wish I had it. Glad I sold before the announcement so got top dollar and get new tech toy :D Pays to look at rumor sites.

Looks very nice, like what they've done with the buttons. But the Intuos 3 is sure to keep me happy till my arms drop off.

I had NO idea wacom was planning to make intuos4, I tried to search it before ordered intuos3 6x11 but no result found until today. Too late I already have intuos3 6x11... bought it early this month, am still loving it! (I sold intuos3 A6 to my friend in 2007 and I missed it a lot, yep mistaken).

When I read intuos4 released today, took one minute feeling rejected for buying intuos3 wrong time when intuos4 just released 3 weeks later... However I had to be positive and believe intuos4 may be not good enough as intuos3 because intuos4 is a very new generation. intuos4 has new led built-in for the first time or new features (such as several buttons) on that tablet might be issue problems later. Then Wacom will produce intuos5 better, like CS3 to CS4 were not much to upgrade as they are both identical and tiny new extra features, hope you know what I mean. :)

boy oh boy. I don't know. I have a 3x5 and was thinking of getting a proper widescreen tablet for my acd, but i may review these 4's now. I love that zoom circle. looks very handy.

cheers,
keebler
