I'm looking to add 3 2TB 3.5 HDD to my "new" 3,1.
In the past I've stuck with WD black. How are the 7200 Blues?
Used OK from a reliable source?
No heavy lifting, streaming media locally to my hifi via Emby WiFi.
Storage and editing audio. No picture .

I've got only good experiences with different WD types of drives.
For general purpose like backups and data I prefer the WD RED.
They're meant for 24/7 use (NAS) and afaics made of superior quality parts than the Blue.
Anyway, I'd buy them new, after all it's a mechanical device and you never know the history of the HDD...

true. I've had great experience with WD as well.
