I am running the latest version of El Captain, on a 2015 iMAC. My iTunes library is on my Synology NAS. I am using an ASUS RT3100 router.

Over the last month, I keep getting these random popup's. "We could not complete your iTunes Store Request. The network connect timed out."

This happens daily. My internet works fine, and I am not loosing connections.

I've even reinstalled (Downloaded again the latests 12.4 iTunes) and it still happens.

How do I fix this?

This happens on me too.
I suspect there is no viable fix on user side.
But if that pop up shows up too frequently, maybe, try to check firewall settings if you have.

Firewall is off/disabled on my iMac. No reason for it (I assume) if I have a hardware firewall on my router

I suspect it might have to do with the OS or with the hardware together with the OS.
Yesterday I had twice an immediate "time out" message not related at all with the iTunes store but just by trying to add credit to my wifes prepaid phone.
It happened when using my iPad 2 but didn't happen when I used my mac.
Strange...

I wonder if apple is aware of this, and how many others users have this issue, as I have yet to find a fix or work around...

I'm experiencing the issue myself.

It's important to allow Apple time to respond. Being a brand new company working with limited funds and new inexperienced engineers, they can only do so much... :eek:

It's not funny. :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
Apple customer service ranks among the best in the world.
However every manufacturer of hard or software can make mistakes.
As long as Apple employs humans and not angels, wrong things can happen.
