Weak 3g signal in Chicago? Anyone else?

Not sure if this is the right forum for this thread but will shoot anyway - has anyone in the Chicago area noticed that it has been getting harder and harder to get a 3G signal in the city over the last 2-3 weeks? I'm amazed at how often I'm on the Edge network these days in areas where I've never had problems before. Just trying to find out if there is some sort of upgrade going on (i.e. it's just temporary) or if there is a bigger issue here.

I, too, have noticed this. I think there may be some overcrowding on the Chicagoland area towers or there has been maintenance. You can call AT&T if you really want an answer.

I just went through this in Virginia Beach, VA. All of a sudden I was on Edge more then 3G and when I was on 3G, this signal was worse then it used to be. That lasted almost a week and now I have 3G back and even get full bars at home where I used to only get 3. Dropped calls have gotten better too.
