Mine is tight too, but that's because it's not my primary lappy. I'm guessing that you use yours far more than either of us posters. There appears to be no way to "tighten" it, so I would take it to a Genius and see what Apple can do about it.

The good side of the grass.
Here's what the MacBook Air's hinges look like. From this angle it doesn't appear there is any way to tighten them, but, who knows. Best to take it to an Apple Genius.

I hope that this isn't going to be another problem with the Air.

It's a shame that most of the posts seen are the ones with Air problems. I have an '08 week 2 unit bought Feb. 1 that has worked for the most part flawlessly. Fit and finish hands down best of any Apple Intel unit I've seen or purchased.

Oh, hinge works wonderfully.

Even though it is only 1.6ghz dual core, which i believe many people will complain/find it's "slow", my MacBook Air have become my main computer. Because of it's potability.

I use it every day and night, opening and closing it while moving around (home, office, bus/train and cafe)

Maybe i'm just using it too often already hahas...

I am running the same machine. Mine is a week three and is getting a lot of use and travel time. So far, all is well. I was going to put windows on it so I could run Microsoft One Note, but I have just switched over to a mac application that works pretty much the same. Great business machine.
