All iPads Weather app delete also deletes widget?

So iPad finally has Weather. Cool, 12 years overdue. Anyway, I've been using the Weather widget for years now. I realised I don't need the Weather app since I have the widget, so deleted the app entirely.

And then... the widget disappeared too! Frustrating. Tried to restore the Weather app by searching on the App Store, but it doesn't appear to be there.

Now what can I do?

Resolved: found the link. Had to go through the US app store. Not so easy to find.
