Thank you, but Dark Sky is unavailable in my country. Is-it available in Europe ?

Dark Sky does not have the best weather prediction in my region (The Netherlands). Apps without subscription are becoming rare, or are stiffed with ads.

I have used WeatherPro for years as Meteogroup gives one of the best weather predictions for my region. Alas, it is unsure if the app will be maintained since Meteogroup has been taken over. So now I am using Carrot weather with Meteogroup and Foreca as data sources. Carrot does not have a minute to minute rain radar though.

i am still on the outlook for an app that has accurate prediction and a good rain radar.

Maybe I could buy one with subscription if it isn't too high (around 12 per year)

The paid version I have for a UK specific and the new iPad widget one is pretty much bang on, rain predictions etc. But then I use that info a lot for my activities and I like the rain radar option. There is a non paid version that lags by 15 mins, less features etc. I suppose it all depends on what weather services your country has.

I understand that the UK met office, BBC, Netweather etc. use different supercomputer models and use them to generate the forecast. I have found a discrepancy on the accuracy of the usual suspects in the UK but then it is a forecast, and one day one will be right, another the other model will be right.
