Universal Weather app radar never works (pics)

What is up with radar on the Weather app? This is alo true for Mac and iPad. It only shows in blocks that change as you zoom in/out. There is no way to see the radar displayed. It has been this way since it was updated and NEVER works correctly. Does everyone else see this too?

Mine started doing that when I upgraded to 16.3. Worked fine before then. But honestly there are far better radar apps available so I don’t really care too much if it’s broken.

I too have this question. The temperature and air quality graphic layers seem to work fine but the precipitation never works. 2018 MB Air OS 13.1

The Apple Weather radar has always sucked, but now it just flat out doesn’t work in any useful way. It’s about to rain where I’m at. Zoom in to about a 100 mile radius and it looks totally clear. I have to zoom out to around 1500 miles to see any result. But the thumbnail on the main Weather screen is accurate.

Just spend the $10 to get RadarScope or Radar Omega and be done with it.

Yea, they have made a really decent weather app across all platforms but NEEDS to have working radar. Coincidently or hopefully a sign of improvement for the first time I'm getting Radar that works (no blank or blank blocking). Here is Mac, iPhone and iPad this morning. Finally fixed????? (don't count those chickens yet).

I have the same issue as well across all my devices. interestingly, it isn't happening on all my wife's devices, they work perfectly fine.

Here is a link to log complaints on the Apple Support site if interested. of course, the same old responses reboot your device, reset settings...etc.
