My weather widget chronically shows the wrong location:

I lived in Fresno over three years ago and oddly enough, I didn't even own an apple device while living there.

Clicking on the widget only takes you to the weather.com app, as you all know.

Going here to Significant Locations shows where I live without any issue:

So why is the weather widget set to Fresno and how do I change it to be my location?

Thanks!

There are some ideas here that may be able to help.

Check System Preferences>Security & Privacy tab>Location Services.
Make sure "Enable Location Services" is checked. Also "Weather" should be checked. Finally there should be a darken arrow that signifies that the Weather app has used your location within the last 24 hours.

Everything was set right in System Preferences, all I needed to do was right click on the weather widget and hit "Edit Weather"

and then select the location:

Wish I would've known about that, lol.

Thanks for the comments and input.

I hope they use the significantly better capabilities of their purchased DarkSky website (darksky.net), app and APIs for the next MacOS. Generic city forecasts (I am given to recall that very old George Carlin routine about weather and the airport) when hyper-local is available - is just soooo early 2000's.
