I just did a clean install or upgrade to iOS 17.3 meaning that I totally wiped everything and then factory reset. Someone told me that this method works better than an in-place upgrade and eliminates most of the issues with most of the upgrades.

Anyways, now my Lock Screen has this default weather widget just above the clock. See image.

How can I remove it and replace it with the battery widget?

And why I don’t see the full date format as well? Did the date format change on the Lock Screen for iOS 17.3 update? My region is USA.

Tap on it, and that widget can be customized like the rest of the other elements.

But among the options, there isn't one that includes battery level.

Okay, I think I know what is going on here.

I must of chosen the wallpaper with the weather widget included by default.

Now, I selected the solid color wallpaper without any widgets and the issue is resolved.

Thanks
