whatever happend to the weather widget animation? I member when they were showing off widgets before Tiger kitty came out, if it was cloudy, you would see the clouds stream infront of the sun or moon and such. well its night, its cloudy, i see both but no little cool animation. I know my card is good enough, radeon 9600. nothing earth shattering but can support a animation like that lol or so i hope.

WOW, that is so cool! I think I'm going to move somewhere that gets all of that weather, I had no idea they had all of those graphics for all of that weather.

Ignore the message that says "No cities found" and just hit "Done." When it flips over, even if it still displays your old (real) city, just hold down both command (apple) & option and start clicking on it.
Hope this helps.

I had no idea that you could scroll through the various weather icons!
That was great! I will never get to see many of those weather icons though here in Canberra.

ahhh thats super cool! too bad all of them are not animated then, they look superb and I think a gif file built into all would have got the job done? not sure but thanks for the links and trick, lol too bad I live in LA. ill only see the sunshine lol

I'm sorry, but

That is the stupidest thing i've ever heard. Why would you say such a dumb thing?

oh, i was trying to be cute for you. guess it didnt work

You don't need to reset the city to make this work. Just cmd-opt click. This resets the city to "nowhere." But I can't find any way of resetting to a real city without closing the widget and starting fresh.

I clicked on the "i' and retyped my city in... hit enter so it validated...
then voila hit DONE, and all was back.
