Hi,

Some websites, when you click on one of their links, open a new tab with an ad that makes Chrome switch to fullscreen view. It happens in far too many websites and I find myself constantly fighting this "fullscreen battle" with those websites.

Is there a way to get around this without completely blocking the ads (and thus the sites' only source of revenue)?

Thank you.

If an ad is that obnoxious, it deserves to be blocked. Having said that, Firefox has an configuration option (dom.disable_window_move_resize) to disable window moving and resizing - maybe Chrome has a similar preference or configuration option?

After a bit of Googling, I couldn't come up with info as to how to configure Chrome as you said. Is there a way to only block such ads using AdBlock?

Edit: I installed AdBlock and saw you can disable ad blocking everything except for selected websites. This is just what I need. I wish I could block specific ads, though, instead of all ads from specific websites.
