I was wondering if someone could explain to me how these iPhone apps work. How do you save them in Safari for a start off? Do you have to bookmark them? And since they're in Safari, does that mean that unless I have an edge or wifi signal I can't open them? Thanks.

web app = web page

is a great webapp manager. you can select apps from their website and create "homepage" with all your favorite apps.
You could also bookmark the actual websites where the apps are, but the webapp managers are much better IMO.
