So, I'm trying to print an email from the redesigned web-based iCloud mail client, but previously you could either open up the message fully in a separte window and print there, or go to the preferences "cog wheel" icon and select print. Now, double clicking a message doesn't open it in another window and the option to print is nowhere to be found. Of course, Ctrl+P is not working, as it shows a print of the display (the different frames of the client visible, not useful for printing a specific message). Anyone have any luck with printing? I'm using Windows 10 Pro, using Google Chrome Version 93.0.4577.82 (Official Build) (64-bit).

If you're using Safari, right-click the email frame (the actual email message text area) and select Print Frame...

If you're using Firefox, right-click the email frame (the actual email message text area) and select This Frame > Print Frame...

Not sure how to do this in Chrome.

But this is really poor web design on Apple's part - users shouldn't have to be reliant on individual browsers' functionality to print an email. It should be accomplished through the site UI.

That may have to be the option so far, I can't find any other solution as of right now.

It seems they also got rid of the ability to drag and drop emails into folders. Is there a way to turn this back on?
I had not seen that yet. I have to agree with usagora, the redesign seems to have been very about visuals, but it has resulted in less functionality.

Apple Support just reached out to me saying to select text and print... Which basically doesn't help at all since then you're missing the e-mail headers. This really is an inconvenience, as I do need full printouts of several mails. Hopefully they issue a fix soon (but I'm not holding my breath).

So, just for information, Apple has updated the web interface, and you now have the option to print when clicking on the reply icon on a message. FINALLY!
