All has been well with my used macbook pro 2008.
I went home for the holidays, used the library wifi... no problems
come back home hook everything up again & now it seems like something has taken over my web browser. I have an ad/ coupon sidebar that i didnt have before..... I alos notice I have to click on some things 3 times before i can get to it. another window pops up everytime I click. Then Ive been recieveing some sort of non apple mac security web page pop up. & some of the pages are very hard to stop or remove.

Ive cleared all cookies, search history, ect.....
I even installed the free bitdefender virus scan app.

still the same.

my main web browser is chrome, then firefox, then opera. I dnt use safari.

any help will be appreciated.

I would delete your extensions one by one to see if that is the problem. Some malicious adware/flash blockers have been known to contain website ads.
