hi guys:
I have searched for a bit and did not found much about web design books, so I thought I would ask here.

I want to learn how to use flash + dreamweaver to build a portfolio website for myself, any recommendations?

thanks so much!

Andrew

Adobe Classroom in a Book Series published by Adobe Press is a great start.
They have books for both Flash CS3 and Dreamweaver CS3 that include CD's with lesson files and video tutorials. The series takes you through prepared lessons that teach the program features.

If it's just for portfolio basis, there are some nice Flash/CSS templates out there build for portfolio's which could be a good starting point to learn. This could really be helpful if you'd like to be self taught. Other then that SitePoint has some good books on design relating to the Web.
