OK, I've applied for a Web Design role at the company I work for. Not something I've done before, and I only have some basic XHTML/CSS/JS skills. I've outlined this to the hiring manager and he's still told me to apply even though I don't have the experience he's looking for as he doesn't know what type applicants he will get.

He's also given me a list of some stuff I can do to help me along. One of which is to read design / development blogs to see what's going on in the industry. So... can anyone recommend any good blogs along those lines?

Maybe we could add some to the sticky's in this forum if any good ones are suggested?

Thanks,
Gav.

Thanks...

... Stampyhead. Had a quick surf and it looks like it could be a mine of useful stuff!

Thanks for the replies everyone. Looks like I've got plenty of reading to do! :)
