Hey,

I am trying to get a friend of mine to get a Mac. He just email this question, Does the Mac have web development tools built into it or software that is easy to use?"

I don't know how to reply to him. Any help greatlt appreciated!

How much of a pro is he? iWeb would work fine for your average Frontpager. Dreamweaver is available for Pros...

Thanks for your reply. He does a lot of web development using JavaScript and XML.

Well XCode can syntax highlight Javascript. RapidWeaver might suit. If he just needs a fast, syntax highlighting text editor with some fancy abilities then TextMate is super great.

Without knowing how he currently works it's difficult to know what to suggest.

Thanks a lot for the info! I'll pass it along and hopefully he'll get a Mac. I think the new Apple commercials are starting to get to him :)
