I just got iLife '06 and I do not want to purchase a .Mac account. I have searched for forums but I have not found the answers to my questions.

1. Will any host be able to support a podcast? Meaning, when I make one, put it on my site in iWeb and publish to the folder, send to the site - will the podcast work?

2. What are some inexspensive hosts to use?

Yes, Podcasting doesn't rely on any server side technologies. :)

TJR Networks has some good plans at great prices (the $30 per year one would cover your needs to start with).

Avoid any hosts that claim to offer the world for just a few dollars per month because they have slow, unstable servers that are crammed with thousands of accounts.
