I am currently looking to find a web host with ample space and domain registration. I have never done website dealings with any pay hosting, only free, so I'm hoping to get this right the first time. I am a huge interface person(stupid, I know), so A Small Orange is really appealing with it's clean layout and cute graphics, but I have heard very mixed reviews. So basically, I'm looking for a clean looking host that will get the hosting job done very well. :) Any input is appreciated.

There are heaps of threads regarding web hosting, but check out TJR Networks. RV Skins are used for the control panel instead of the default CPanel one which makes things look much nicer. You can see what it looks like here. :)

Regarding domain registration, it is best to do that separately. GoDaddy is good for domains (but don't buy their hosting, or that of any other extreme overseller or you will end up with a very slow site :p ).

Thanks! I'll check into TJR. :)

I just got with ASO, and so far they are awesome! Really good stuff. I captured their "interface" for you to look at. It as well is nicely set up and easy to work with.

And if you do sign up with them can I be your referrer? :D

Have any more questions, there are lots of ASO people on here!

Checkout Lunarpages. Link is below in my sig. They offer up to 5GB space. They have a new free domain for life. So you can have your domain hosted with them and you don't pay a cent, ever. Plus for any other new domains you want they're $2.99/yr each. Can't beat that. Their tech service is great when you need to call them up too.

I saw that TJR hosting has yearly rates...which is really appealing. Any other yearly pay options? I'm a really really busy college athlete, and I forget just about everything, lol, so the ease of only paying yearly would be a big plus.

Lunarpages offers 3 months, 6 months, 12 months, or 24 months. Whatever you want.
