Web Pages Slow to Load

This just started happening today. Sometimes the page will load, but the address bar will stay partly blue and freeze OR the address bar will stay partly blue, but the page won't load. I ran a bandwidth test and got 855.7kbps. Usually my connection speed is up to 915kbps, but it varies from day to day. Sometimes it will help to click the page reload button, but I have to do that several times to get the page fully loaded.

I already tried resetting to modem and restarting the computer - no change. This problem reminds me of the old days when I had a PC.

Would this be a hardware problem on my side or would it be a network problem?

Safari, right? Have you tried some of the techniques for speeding it up. In particular, emptying the icon cache may help.

If that doesn't help, then try the same sites using a different browser and tell us if it's still slow.

Reset your modem. Did you have an electrical outage lately?
