I notice on both the iPhone 3GS and the iPad, that when I load Apple.com if I use any gestures, IE scroll and leave my finger on there it just stops loading until I take my hand off.

Same goes for pinch in/out, etc... it just stops loading until you let go. Has anyone else noticed this? Why doesn't it keep loading?

When I had my iPhones, Apple's site was the only one that would routinely freeze/crash Safari. Kind of ironic.

I was only using Apple.com as an example, it happens on other websites too. Google, I just tested. If I scroll a little, and then leave my finger on it won't continue loading until I take it off.

It's really weird :p

I'm not sure it stops loading, I think the screen does not refresh until you remove your hand.

I just tested it again, I went to google.com.au and dragged the page down a little bit just after it had loaded 10-15% (the Google image hadn't loaded yet), and I waited like a minute and a half, as soon as I let go, it started loading the rest of it.

It does actually pause while you're using gestures on it, weird right?
