We have this video up on our website that's done in Flash (before I came here and no, it's not a FLV '~' ) and the boss wants to change the "button you click that opens the video." She wants a Windows Media Player icon for that, but at the same time I'm thinking "Wouldn't that be confusing? Showing a WMV icon when it's actually flash?" I took a screenshot of the video and made a thumbnail for the icon and she said she doesn't like it because the video is ugly (which is the truth). She then tells me to search google for "online demo" and steal an image. However, I don't feel like getting sued this week so I thought I'd ask about suggestions here. What about some button with the Flash player logo? Though I'm afraid that she won't be familar with that logo...

Just use a Tube like icon, or a film like icon. You could also just have an image of a camera or projector. People understand that.

Awesome thanks! Sometimes the simplest options escape us

Ooops! The boss thought there was too much black '~'

It was either remake the tv in silver, or change the background color on the TV. Naturally, I chose the easier of the two since work ends 5pm CST :-D

Attached is another option I made, I thought it was pretty clever.
