I have a 2nd Gen G5 iMac and I'm looking for a webcam to use on it (with Skype). I have a new SR MBP, and I'm moving to school in Boston for the next academic year and my parents want to be able to contact me via the iMac and a webcam.
I've had a read around and some people are saying that the Xbox Live camera works, is that true of PowerPC Macs as well, and does it work with skype?
Another alternative I've looked at is Macam, but again I've read here that its pretty much abandoned and doesn't work with Tiger.
I'm not up for paying £150+ for an iSight camera on eBay, so any suggestions of cameras that are known to work (preferably tested with this generation of iMac) would be much appreciated.
