"Oversight" doesn't report the audio device becoming active but it reports that it "became inactive" when I close the tab with the website.

I repeat…Firefox does not have access to the mic.

I reset the permissions via bogdanw's command, also.

If anyone else running Monterey (I'm on 12.2.1) would like to access the website in Firefox and report what happens that'd be great.

No orange dot in 12.3.1 intel iMac, with Firefox. I did some interaction on the page, but it didn't trigger the mic. The link you provide sends me to my country page (/es/), though.

interesting that it shows on an audio interface site. don't visit that site anymore? not sure what's up, but seriously, if that's the only site this happens on, visit it on safari or chrome? just a suggestion

Perhaps RELATED:
I did a FaceTime with a relative, couple days ago (in 12.3 still) and orange dot kept ON even after quitting FaceTime. I couldn’t figure how to switch it off, so I restarted mac and things came to normal.
(Monterey works well, but I find minute and intermittent strange behaviors, like this, that happen just once).
