I want to create a website that will allow viewers to color in the spaces of my modern-art, black and white drawings. What kind of software should I get? I want to be able to add a new drawing every day, and have an option for the viewer to print out their colored version. I have not created a website before, so I want something that is relatively easy and inexpensive, and that will transfer from my iMac to other Macs and PCs. Thanks!

Something with that level of functionality would likely have to be done with Flash or a Java Applet, at least if I understand what you're wanting. I don't know of anything off hand that can do that though. I've seen similar things, but doubt I could find them on purpose.

What you're asking for can be done with Flash - easiest method - but it's not easy if you don't know what you're doing. You need to find a web developer to do that type of work, it's not something you pick up in a day or two as it requires a ton of scripting.

+1

If you're serious about wanting this project, you'll have to pay for it. It really isn't something you will be able to pick up even in a weeks time. Flash does seem like you best option. Go to some Flash community sites and post what you want and you might get some quotes/offers.
