Can some of ya'll take a peak at my (business) website? Tell me what you think before I set it live. There are a few things that I know don't work properly, but will when the site gets moved to its proper location in the folder tree.

The URL is http://www.btldetailing.com/BTL Detailing/index.html
The gallery link isn't set up right (yet), it is located at http://www.btldetailing.com/gallery/

Anything you have to offer would be great :)

Edit

I moved everything to the root of my domain - www.btldetailing.com

I would like to thank angelwatt and chicowebb for their suggestions, their help definitely cleaned everything up.

I still have a few tweaks to make, but all-in-all, I think its ready. The biggest challenge I see coming is re-skinning the gallery to make it better fit my needs.

Just some quick things.
  1. Don't use spaces in file names. Use underscores instead, that way you don't end up with those %20 pieces in the URL. You should also generally use lowercase only.
  2. In the right sidebar it should be "Recent Detailings" rather than "Recent Details"
  3. The paragraph drop shadows along the lower right side of paragraphs look out of place. They don't match up with the paragraphs well, just create a lot of white space.
  4. I'd personally make the footer either as wide as the content, or 100% width, rather than what it is now.
  5. The gallery has a different layout and color scheme. You should try to get these to match better.

What's up with the green line in the middle of your footer? Why is the footer so much wider then the content? Your gallery page is a little messed, looks like a float issue. Your contact form, doesn't really work. Yah, it needs some TLC before you take it live. Not to professional in my opinion to have so many things broken.

The caps and spaces are there because this isn't the final resting place of the website, as stated in my main post. "When the site gets moved to its proper location in the folder tree." Its just in its own folder, a straight upload from my hard drive, until I put it in the root of my domain.

Nice catch on my grammar, thanks :)

I will look into those, might pull them?

Footer can be addressed :)

I'm working with the skin of the gallery, been messing around quite a bit, will keep working on it.

The green line is just for show, think it should be removed?

Footer width will be addressed.

Explain the gallery error a bit more, screenshot with edits over it maybe?

Contact form works, but since I have the .php file set to redirect to thankyou.html in the root, the .css doesn't work. I received your blank form. When I move the site to its final resting place (the root of the domain) it will be fine.

Yeah, I'd probably pull them out. Then of course reduce the white space between the sections. The drop shadows weren't doing much for it except causing a slight bit of confusion. If you wanted to add some flare you could do a graphic that separates the sections, but keep it very simple so it doesn't take away from the content.
