I've just gotten off the phone with Apple about my battery problems, and I was given a website link which I could have them send me out a new one then I send back my old one. However it doesn't have anywhere for macbooks.

The link she gave was www.depot.info.apple.com

Either she misunderstood (which I don't think is the case) or she missed a bit of the link out or gave the wrong one.

Can anyone direct me in the right direction?

It was extremely hard to understand her, she had a strange accent and was practically whispering. Maybe she did misunderstand somehow.

Yeah I've seen that, it's this update that's caused the problems ironically enough.

But looking at that it seems like I need to take it into an Apple store which is approximately 5 hours away. Surely they should be able to send out a battery? I asked about it and was told they would if i visited aforementioned website?

They should definitely be able to send out the battery - I would call back.

Great, thanks. Will have to give that a shot later as I was told I need a credit card for them to do it and they won't accept my Debit card. Shall have to borrow someone's and then try ringing them.

Thanks again. :)

All sorted, rang them back this morning and I have a brand new battery being shipped out within 4 working days via UPS. :D

UPDATE: 24 hours and I already have the new battery. I am stunned. Go Apple!
