I replaced my week 26 today due to some pixel issues. And received a week 31. Did they announce a fix for the sensor? Because my previous phone was plagued by the flashing proximity sensor screen, this new phone DOES NOT have an issue. Am I behind in times or something?

Can't see how this could be a software issue when it's appearing in some phones and not others.

Not all phones had the issue to begin with. I have a day 1 phone that never had the problem. In any case, it could be a matter of a certain batch of sensors having different sensitivities, which could be adjusted for in software.

Mine is week 31 and doesn't have it either. I also couldn't get the antenna thing to happen and I've made it happen on my friend's phone here before

I have 2 week 25 phones that arrived on July 23. Neither has antenna prolems, sensor problems, or any issues at all.

Now if I intentionally try I can get the antenna to loose signal strength in normal use..... I dont have any issues.

No its not.

No its not.

It's just you and how you use your phone.
Like everyone else has said, it's not happening to everyone. WHich may mean its the WAY you use your phone. If I press my phone lightly and causally to my ear, it has the issues. But when I push the phone hard to my face, its fine.

But, thats just me...

I know how the issue works... I had a horrible one with my week 26. I tried it everyday I could to make it flicker on Nd off. My wife was witness to my craziness. Lol. It's fixed man.

I wish people would quit posting stupid threads.

Not all phones have the proximity sensor issue. Some bought their phone on launch day and have no issues. Some haven't been as lucky. Simple as that.

Mines week 31 and I have 0 issues. No death grip, no prox, no discoloration/green spots on camera etc.

yes all of a sudden the i4 comes out and people dont know how to hold a phone up to their ear. Man, some of the things people will say to cover for apple for god knows what reasons.

Congrats on being the only negative post here.

where does it indicate what week it was produced? im about to get an ip4 soon.

I've got a week 31 and it feels like the proxy sensor is worse then my week 26 although i wouldn't call it an issue.
