Hello all. Let's crank this thing up to 11 and show each other what we can really do. The subject this week is "wow factor". Knock my socks off with pure awesomeness! See you in a week.

The photographs must be your own work.
  • Be creative and have fun.
  • You may only submit one photo per contest.
  • Please do not comment on photos until after the judging has taken place.
  • The contest runs for one week, starting NOW!
  • At the end of the week, The Judge (last week's Winner) will choose a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place photo, providing as much feedback as possible.
  • The 1st place Winner will start a new thread with the topic/theme of their choice, and act as the Judge for that contest. (Winner has 48 hours to create new theme, after that it defers to 2nd place).

I saw this today in London, and thought it was quite striking with the Shard in the background, along with the dog on the streetlight. Of course, I did some editing, it isn't naturally all black and white! This is just outside Southwark Station:

The only "Wow" photo I have. The day of my godson's birth. It was a "Wow" moment for all involved.

I remember sitting outside the delivery room immediately before my first daughter arrived. I sat down on a chair and then realised that I didnt think my legs would work when it was time to stand up and walk in!

Then the moment I held Rebecca for the first time, a very magical moment. Thanks for sharing this and bringing back a fond memory. She is 8 now!

I remember the first time I held my daughter in the delivery room. Felt so responsible for the little bundle of joy.
Just wish I could remember the last time I held her.
