Wow! Loved the competition last week. Was truly surprised to get a win on that one as there were lots of images I liked. I am so so happy that we are getting a good contribution to these challenges and we are seeing more and more truly impressive images. I am not looking forward to judging this one.
So, onto the subject. As per usual I am going for my ambiguous topic style to try and cater for those who are mobile and those who are static. Both the “freedom of the world” and the “within 200 yards of home” shooter.
The order of the day is Water. H20 or to maintain my king of the dad jokes status, Aich too Oh…
I would like to see creative images including the use of water (or any liquid really). Anything from fruit dropped in the fish tank, sub-aqua fauna, reflecting lakes, rain clouds to rain drops on a window.
I have a particular love of water in motion. I like waterfalls, I like rivers, I like ripple patterns on the surface.
So, fill your boots…. Or keep your feet dry and get the fluidity of your creativeness flowing…..
EDIT: yeah that last one was cringe-worthy sorry...
The usual rules apply:
· The photographs must be your own work.
· Be creative and have fun.
· You may only submit one photo per contest.
· Please do not comment on photos until after the judging has taken place.
· The contest runs for a week and starts now!
· At the end of the week, The Judge (last week's Winner) will choose a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place photo, providing as much feedback as possible.
· If the Judge is unable to complete the selection within 48 hours of the deadline for close, then a vote will be carried out to select a winner. This will be based on the number of "likes" each image has. In the event of a draw, the second place winner from the previous week will choose the tiebreaker.
· The 1st place Winner will start a new thread with the topic/theme of their choice, and act as the Judge for that contest. (Winner has 48 hours to create new theme, after that it defers to 2nd place).
· Please update the Weekly Contest Master List when you post a new contest
