Weekly Photo Contest 21 to 28 April 2023 - Euphoria

The topic this week is Euphoria.

A feeling of great elation; A state of intense happiness, confidence, or well-being. Interpret this any way you like! A person does not have to be the subject, as an animal or nature could show the same in its own way. The photo below could be just one example. Have fun!

As always, standard rules apply:

• The photographs must be your own work
• You may only submit one photo per contest.
• No commenting or liking photos until after the judging has taken place.
• This contest runs for about a week, starting now.
• At the end of the competition, the judge (last week's winner) will choose a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place photo, providing as much feedback as possible.
• The 1st place winner will start a new thread here with the topic/theme of their choice, and act as the judge for that contest. (Winner has 48 hours to create new theme, after that it defers to 2nd place).
• Be sure to update the Contest Master List as soon as you post a new theme.
• Contest ends on April 28 at 12:00 PST.

This may have been a more challenging topic this week; I’m glad we got a few more individual interpretations in the end.

@akash.nu Great summit shot looking down at what you just scaled- love the way the sky mists and mixes with the point in the distance.

@ovbacon Great still of a euphoric moment at a party with friends! Neat effect of both motion and colours.

@mollyc Loving this little pups face as she (?) bounds towards you, almost all four paws off the ground

@oblomow The excitement we see in this bird as they are filled with joy at the plate of seeds and feed in front of them- almost calling to the other birds to join in. Very neat.

@Janichsan Street parade? Great facial expressions and no doubt sense of pride in what they’re carrying.

Quite a diverse assortment of interpretations this week, as always it’s hard to rank what are all exceptional! Nonetheless:
