Weekly Photo Contest | Aug 9 - 16, 2022 | "What Makes You Smile?"

This week's contest theme is "What Makes You Smile?"

The usual rules apply:

· The photographs must be your own work.

· You may only submit one photo per contest.

· No commenting or liking photos until after the judging has taken place.

· This contest runs for one week, starting now.

· At the end of the week, The Judge (last week's Winner) will choose a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place photo, providing as much feedback as possible.

· The 1st place Winner will start a new thread with the topic/theme of their choice, and act as the Judge for that contest. (Winner has 48 hours to create new theme, after that it defers to 2nd place).

This was taken 8 years ago for a children's story written by my wife. Every time I see it it makes me smile.

Probably long gone now, but this roof sign in/near Geyser, Idaho certainly brightened my morning whenever I drove by headed to Kemmerer, WY and points further east and south.

Lot of good roads to ride in the Bay Area year round. I look for the roads with lots of curves, I won't ride on the freeways unless I have to. At nearly 78 I use my riding as a means of remaining sharp rather than that garbage Prevagen. I try and keep my speeds a little less than my age. Time to go out and put a new front tire on, worn down to the cords on the edges (not the center!).
