The UPDATED rules apply:
· Do not comment, vote or react on images prior to winners' announcements.
· The photographs must be your own work.
· You may only submit one photo per contest.
· This contest runs for one week, if in doubt, check the dates in the title.
· At the end of the week, The Dreaded Judge (last week's Winner) will choose a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place photo, providing as much feedback as possible.
· If The Dreaded Judge is unable to complete the selection within 48 hours of the deadline, then last week's 2nd place has to step in. 3rd place takes over should 1st and 2nd place remain AWOL
· The 1st place Winner will start a new thread with the topic/theme of their choice, and act as The Dreaded Judge for that contest. (Winner has 48 hours to create a new theme, after that it defers to 2nd place).
-2nd place bragging will immediately be punished with 1st place placement.
-Be sure to update the Contest Masterlist as soon as you post a new theme.

I’ve interpreted this contest as digital life being ever present everywhere for me. This was on holiday in Croatia where I was attending meetings and dealing with release issues while I had that awesome view just right there from the hotel balcony.

Frankly, I expected far more entries given the theme, but I'll survive it

@akash.nu | Positively the best office view one could ask for. Not sure how you can manage glare issues though. In terms of framing, you did chip the lower left of the MBA, and some updates have issues in your code. Step into my office, we need to talk. I'm guesstimating mobile photography.

@stillcrazyman | Splendid lighting altogether, a very nice place to work on your images without being distracted by macrumors notifications, oh wait, you got an ipad there already logged-on. Curious, do you really only work with a magic trackpad?

@mollyc | Love your moody lighting as always, curious to know if there is a spot right above. The hairdo did actually draw my attention more than anything,that's quite wild! In terms of practicing on a computer, I can see the benefits of not having music sheets lying all over the place.

@globalist | May I suggest xooloo. This image is quite sad, and is not restricted to children. I would have just confiscated everything digital and throw them out in the park or whatever available in the vicinity.

@oblomow | Time for you to pay-up! You knew very well that the irony of the image would win me over, and you can now bask in your own greatness for the next week or so!

@redshifted | I'm pretty interested to see the original image and the steps in between, along with the apps used. The result however, though trippy, is purely abstract abstractness abstracting in infinity and cannot attribute any other meaning out of it.

Thanks for the judging @needfx , yes it was mobile photography, I didn’t have any more space to go behind and unfortunately that resulted in cutting the corner and congratulations @oblomow

yes, my son has crazy hair, he always has, and, well, since my husband is losing his own, we kind of let Boy-o do whatever he wants with his (except it always makes me sad when he wants it cut really short). That room does have can lights, so probably he was sitting under one, as well as illuminated by the iMac screen. ?

@needfx - Yes, I only use the Magic Trackpad as my input device, along with the keyboard of course. I've thought of getting a Wacom device, but don't see much need for it at the moment.
