Weekly Photo Contest March 5 to March 12 - Paint!

This week's contest is about PAINT! Use it, shoot it, spill it, capture it, make a mess with it - just don't drink it!



Rules as follows:

· Do not comment, vote, react, or click “like” on images prior to the winners being announced.

· The photographs must be your own work.

· You may only submit one photo per contest.

· This contest runs for one week, if in doubt, check the dates in the title.

· At the end of the week, The Judge will choose a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place photo, providing as much feedback as possible.

· If the Judge is unable to complete the selection within 48 hours of the deadline, then last week's 2nd place has to step in. 3rd place takes over should 2nd place be similarly unable to officiate.

· The 1st place Winner will start a new thread with the topic/theme of their choice, and act as the Judge for that contest. (Winner has 48 hours to create a new theme, after that it defers to 2nd place).

· Be sure to update the Contest Master List as soon as you post a new theme.

Congratulations to all. That was a tough subject and some great entries.

Concerning my joke about drinking paint, I didn't even have the time to merge a couple photos in Photoshop, perhaps using the puppet function for routing the paint streaming down their chest. That would have been easy compared to learning a new software program in limited time. So what was my other idea? In my spare time I am beginning to learn Corel Paint but never could get my 'first example' cloning an original photo to a level I would publish it before the cutoff.

Congrats to the other winners and thanks for the 3rd ! I was originally going to post a pic of some peeling paint around my shack that's online to be fixed when it gets warmer , but got beat out so had to fall back on some UV lit drips .

I'm dead chuffed to have won this, although the real star of the photo is my little girl! Although I've been on MacRumors for a few years now I've only recently started viewing and entering these competitions. If someone else would like to get the next competition up and running I'd be happy for them to do so. Unfortunately, I'm logging on and off again very quickly as I've got a few things to sort out and prepare for as I don't think it will be long before the UK goes into lockdown due to this wretched virus. Thank you.
