I'm often amazed at the creative ideas you guys come up with when it's horrible weather and you are stuck in doors.
So let's see of those brilliant shots! If you take a wider shot of your set up that could be informative.
  • The photographs must be your own work.
  • Be creative and have fun.
  • You may only submit one photo per contest.
  • Please do not comment on photos until after the judging has taken place.
  • The contest runs for one week, starting NOW!
  • At the end of the week, The Judge (last week's Winner) will choose a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place photo, providing as much feedback as possible.
  • The 1st place Winner will start a new thread with the topic/theme of their choice, and act as the Judge for that contest. (Winner has 48 hours to create new theme, after that it defers to 2nd place).
Here's an example showing the wider shot of someone's set up.

OK, stuck indoors

Taken with no fancy gear, using natural light from window. Taken in this:

Is this a Leica I see before my eyes?

However, that is one of the things I love about those fast Leica lenses - they allow you to use whatever natural light is available when shooting, and I love using natural light indoors, if possible.

You bought a Leica Monochrom?
Man, Mrs Kenoh either loves you to pieces or is very naive... :)

Wow, a Leica monochrome - I have yet to lay eyes on one of those.

I have a M9 and a Monochrom yes. I have an amazing wife.

Having said that, they are on their way to Solms for sensor repairs right now. :-(

A M9 and a Monochrome?

Hm, impressive cameras, impressive lenses and yes, an impressive spouse.

They are very very nice cameras and I am forever grateful to my friend who gave me them.

OK, just to make up numbers...

I'm really not happy with this and my flash ran out of juice before I could do anything about it. I thought i'd submit it anyway.

Setup is attached. Sony A7 with Leica Elmar 90mm @f16, ISO 100, 1/160. Flash off to the right, one hiding behind the "model" an incense stick behind the rocks, a black popup background and me blowing vape smoke straight at him.

Bonus internet points for anyone remembering him from somewhere.
