Welcome to this week's photo contest! :)

Theme: Aged

I visited a friend's farm this weekend and was inspired by his antique pieces.

This could be interpreted in many ways. I'll let yalls imagination and awesome creativity do the talking!


Rules:
  • Be creative and have fun.
  • You may only submit one photo per contest.
  • Please do not comment on photos until after the judging has taken place.
  • The contest runs for one week, starting NOW! (see time/date stamp at the start of this thread.)
  • At the end of the week, The Judge (last week's Winner) will choose a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place photo, providing as much feedback as possible.
  • The 1st place Winner will start a new thread with the topic/theme of their choice, and act as the Judge for that contest. (Winner has 48 hours to create new theme, after that it defers to 2nd place).

I want to thank everyone for participating in this week's photo contest. I have been honored to be a judge. Some truly great photos here.


Laird Knox,



I loved the lighting of this shot and the deep blue rich sky in the back. It must've been a sight to photograph.



MacRY,



I really enjoyed this shot. I loved the medals which I gather from war, and his aged face. The medals presents his youth and he tales he missive had. I love the sharpness in his face and clarity.



Kenoh,



I love the grunginess of this shot and the colors. The composition is great. I can imagine the work that was perform in this space.



Anotherscotsman,



This photo reminds of a great fantasy. I love the sky and composition. I can image the memories and smiles shared here long ago. I can really feel the atmosphere here.

I can just smell the books in this library and it smells great. The rich vibrant colors and the excellent framing makes me wanna be there right now!!!

I'm a sucker for Greek history. This is just splendid. The light, the composition, and the sky makes this a truly wonderful photo.

This photo really moved me. Endured love. The memories, the smiles, and the sadness these two must've shared together is truly touching.

Many thanks for the comments Techgrunt and a good job with what was a very difficult contest to judge.

@deep diver was my personal favourite in terms of the theme with MacRy being a close second IMHO.

Well done to the winners!
