Weekly Photo Contest: Sept 23 - Sept 30th
Welcome to this week's photo contest thread!

Theme: Bountiful Harvest

Today is the first full day of Fall so lets see the bountiful harvest the world has/has had to offer!:D

Rules:

1. Be creative and have fun.

2. Please submit only one photo per contest.

3. Please do not comment on photos until after the judging has taken place.

4. The contest runs for exactly one week, starting NOW! (see time/date stamp at the start of this thread)

5. At the end of the week, The Judge (last week's Winner - me) will choose a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place photo, providing as much feedback as possible. (Judge has 24 hours to make decision)

6. The 1st place Winner will start a new thread with the topic/theme of their choice, and act as the Judge for that contest. (Winner has 48 hours to create new theme)

As the title says - it does reflect some kind of bounty I suppose....perhaps not quite as seasonal as the theme requires but as Alexander says, seasonality is dependant on geography!

I made this a couple of years ago as a "gift" for Chappers. He hates pumpkin, leeks, and turnips. I'm not sure that it is actually contest worthy, but it has been a tough week and I needed a little humor. Sorry Simon. :rolleyes:

It is Conker season! My knuckles are killing me. Shortly after this picture was taken, my daughters and I weaponised these bad boys with string. Needless to say those two are rubbish at aiming. Couldn't hit a barn door but Jesus! They can crack my fingers every which way from Sunday!

Congratulations acearchie, I thought when you posted yours we'd be making up the numbers! Though butch10x did come up with a brilliant photo as well. Thanks for the mention Paul. :)
 
Yesssss! Been out of the game for a while but now I'm back on top! Wohooo! ha

Thanks for all the comments guys, means a lot.

'Magazine' lighting is down to the softness really. Not that happy with the colours of the shot so I'm sure there is a little bit of tinkering that can still be done.

Will get a new contest up shortly! In fact, here is it!
