The topic this week is "Symmetrical" ... interpret any way you like.

The usual rules apply:

· The photographs must be your own work.

· You may only submit one photo per contest.

· No commenting or liking photos until after the judging has taken place.

· This contest runs for one week, starting now.

· At the end of the week, The Judge (last week's Winner) will choose a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place photo, providing as much feedback as possible.

· The 1st place Winner will start a new thread with the topic/theme of their choice, and act as the Judge for that contest. (Winner has 48 hours to create new theme, after that it defers to 2nd place).

I need some assitance updating the Weekly Contest Master thread, anyone, please?

Philadelphia.
I'll go. I was thinking I might do something with a whirligig we just got, but this week is not looking so good. We'll see. In the meantime.....................

Thanks to all who submitted this week, and to @oblomow for helping me out updating the Master List.

@deep diver great opening shot this week, love the leading lines from lower chains to upper cables too.

@tizeye nice capture, relative to the whole image the tower seems small, but the contrasted lighting really makes it stand out, cool.

@Fravin perfect symmetry, not the usual angle people shoot the tower, interesting perspective.

@OldMacs4Me cool artificial symmetry, it's almost overwhelming (the sepia toning probably makes it so).

@imac wannabe great job on a difficult shot - panning fast movers. If I was wired tight I might have tilted the photo a tad.

@oblomow I really like this shot, a subtle face with great symmetry in many areas.

@stillcrazyman nice moody shot, colourful reflective symmetry.

@Janichsan wow what a shot, enormous depth, perfect symmetry and great tones.

@mollyc a really thoughtful submission, imperfect but natural symmetery. Love the colous and contrast between foreground and background.

3rd place to @mollyc

2nd place to @oblomow

1st place to @Janichsan

Congrats!

Oh, wow. Thanks for that honour!

I'll brainstorm a bit and try to come up with a new topic until tomorrow.
