I have a 2014 Macbook Air 13"

Air works fine with AC Power,
-Battery is healthy, -
-less than 100 charge cycle,
-its showing 100% charged.

However when I unplug the AC Power, the shutdown.

so I tried

-Reset SMC
-Reset Pram

even
-Disconnect battery for 2HR
-Reset SMC
-Reset Pram

Still not working with battery.

So I bough a battery from Ebay, tested the battery on other Air works fine.

placed the battery in, its showing 70% (New out of box), even its charging to 100%

unplug the ACPower.... Shutdown again.

Anyone got idea???

If you've tried a new battery, it sounds like some sort of issue with the Logic Board. Can't be AC adapter as it charged from 70% to 100%.

It's a real tricky one though, you've tried everything you should have to resolve the issue. Is there an Apple Store local to you so they can have a look? They wouldn't charge you for an assessment so it's worth seeing what is wrong with it and how much it may cost to repair.

Yes, tried new battery

Any chance something wrong on IO board?

It seems it's something to control "switch from AC to Battery" switch problem.

I have exactly the same problem since a couple of weeks (MBA early 2014). Tried everything. When I have time I'll visit a service center, hopefully it's not the logic board...

Exactly the same model

I got no apple care, don't want to spend too much to get it fixed

The original symptoms were pointing to something other than the battery (as battery performance was reported as good), yet you replaced the battery anyway? Yeah, a battery is cheaper than a circuit board, but unless you have all the parts already purchased and sitting on a shelf above the repair bench, simply swapping out parts until the problem goes away is pretty darned inefficient.
