This problem just appeared out of nowhere one day, with 3 horizontal lines of stuck pixels, approx 5 pixels long each.

The next day, the lines were much shorter, about 2 pixels each, so I thought it would go away.

Well now they are over 10 pixels long each, but they seem to grow or shrink a few pixels each day.

I'm not sure if they are stuck pixels, because on a white background they are black. On a black background they are gray.

Any ideas what this might be? I ran the pixel strobe repair thing for 30 minutes and it didn't help. Thanks for any ideas.

No one has seen this before? I'll bump it just this once.

hmm, a friend of mine had something similar on their phone except it was in the form of large grey patches, not sure if it's the same thing since it seemed permanent and grew just a little. but sorry to say if you're out of warranty you're out of luck. since you have a 3G that means you're eligible for...IPHONE 4!!!!!!!!
