Weird activity, I hope its not malware

Greetings,

I started streaming a movie last night from a streaming website. You the ones with all the pop ups and so on (no I didnt click on any and I close pop ups before they load up)
I hooked up my MBP to my TV and just as I pressed play my MBP screen went black.
It then turned on again to the user login screen.
I thought this was weird as I didnt click or press anything.
So I logged back into my user and it started opening all of the windows I had open just 1 minute earlier.

However, all of a sudden there were 4 flash player disk images mounted on my desktop.
This freaked my out a bit as I dont have a single flash player .dmg downloaded anywhere.

Can you guys help my find out if some malware was installed or somthing along those lines?

This doesn't sound good... I would suggest you install Malwarebytes and run a scan to see if your Mac has been infected. Malwarebytes is available for free: https://www.malwarebytes.com/

Also run Etrecheck. I've had to use both lately to help rid a couple of systems of Malware.

In addition to the Etrecheck report...

Select Applications
Under Arrange by, select Date Added.
Do you see anything you didn't install added to Applications.

Check Extensions in your Browser. Check settings in Browser(s) for Home. Check to see if a new toolbar has been added.

I had a user that wanted to watch a sports game on his computer. He ended up with something similar. After running Malwarebytes, there was still lots of manual clean up that had to be done.

If you do a "Get Info" on the flash files, it might show you the link were the flash files where located.

No new apps, no extenstions, no toolbars have been aded.

Thats whats weird, there are no flash files, there were only flash player mounted disk images but no .dmg's anywhere to be found
