Weird App Store "installed" button

Not sure if this is out of the ordinary or not but today I noticed that if I look at an app I downloaded before, the word "installed" is highlighted in blue inside the grey box. I feel like the whole button should be greyed out.

Does anyone have this same issue or is this completely normal?

My question is that this highlighted blue "installed" does not look normal and I wanted confirmation to see if this is what it's suppose to look like. Are people seeing the same thing when they look at installed apps (the word "installed" highlighted in blue) or is it just a greyed out box.

I recently updated to iOS 5.0.1.

It isn't suppose to look like that but the App Store is more like a web browser than an App so I suspect it will be fixed shortly.

Thank you, someone with common sense. As it is, it does get a bit difficult to read what it says.

As you said it's like a browser, so a simple CSS change should fix it. I believe it to be an overlay, but something's messed up.

Agreed. It's obviously not loading the entire image so you get that weird grey box around the Installed text. I'm guessing it'll be fixed soon as well.

I disagree that it's more like a Web Browser than an app. There may be a bug that needs to be located and corrected but that is all it is. With the millions of lines of code, worked on be different teams, it would be amazing if everything worked perfectly the first time it was released. Given time Apple will address all of these problems. Every time Apple releases a new operating system they add thousands of not milloions of new code that must interact correctly with all the other code that has been de-bugged. All we need is a little patience and they will solve all of the current problems.
